HELP US GIVE CODY HIS SIGHT!

CODY FEND

LION DOROTHY LASCUOLA AND LION BILL HETRICK ARE HEADING UP THE BUTLER LIONS CLUB EFFORT TO RAISE FUNDS TO SEND CODY TO CHINA FOR TREATMENT.

Cody, is an energetic, typical 2 year old little boy.  He loves music and jumping on his trampoline.  He enjoys swimming and riding on the quad with his Dad, Josh.  The only thing that sets him apart from other 2 year olds is his lack of sight. Cody was born blind, a condition called optic-nerve hypoplasia (ONH).  Cody has therapists that come to the house weekly to work with him.

Click on the below link to go to a webpage with additional information on Cody and Cody's treatment.

The Butler Lions Club has donotated $500 toward Cody's treatment.  Lion Dorothy and Lion Bill have put containers in Bussinesses and Public Buildings in the Butler Area.  They maintained the containers and collected this additional money and turned it over to Cody's family.

Cody will need additional treatment when he comes home and the Lions Club is looking at different fund raisers to help him out.

Lion Dorothy and Lion Bill will keep us informed of Cody's progress and what is happening in his future.

Cody and his extended family were guests of the Butler Lions Club at our March 4, 2008 meeting.
