Scoot & Toot: Our race, which was run on October 9, was quite successful. We had a beautiful day, over 50 participants, lots of Lions and we made some money. We will have a detailed report (including a listing of sponsors) in next month’s Tale. Thanks to all the Lions that helped with the race; Lions runners Neil and Art; our nurses Janice Hetrick and Rita Miller; Butler Ambulance; CB Rangers; Lion Guy for the p.a. system and emceeing the awards presentation and all the participants. Special thanks to Lion Larry Jack and Lion Jennifer for chairing this event and making it happen! We will look forward to an even bigger event next year!
