Thanks to Lion Hastie LeFevre for taking the Club Photographer position. Be sure and smile when you see Lion Hastie comming, especially if she has a camera ready.
2007-2008 Dues are Due! $60 dollars for regular members. Any dues not yet paid is past due and puts a financial burden on the club!
The COST of OUR MEALS WITH THE MEETING ARE GOING UP TO $10 for the 2007-2008 year. This price includes a 50-50 ticket along with dinner.
The Broom and Bag Sale is scheduled for September 10-13. At this monent we are having some challenges getting products to sell. We will have a sale. Contact Lion Winkler if you have any questions.
August Dates
21, 6:30 PM, Meeting #2 Regular meeting. There is no special program.
September Dates
04, 6:30 PM, Meeting #1 is our annual family picnic at the Butler Lions Shelter at Alameda Park. To ensure there will be enough food RSVP is required. Contact Lion Steve or Lion George if you are coming and how many will be in your party.
18, 6:30 PM, Regular Meeting #2. This will be our last meeting this year at the park. A Board Meeting will follow immediately after the membership meeting.
October Dates
02, 6:30 PM, Meeting #1 . It is AWARDS Night and also spouse / friend night. There are serveral Lions who are receiving Monarchs and Perfect Attendance Awards: also the Lion of the Year will be awarded as well as a Melvin Jones Fellowship.
16, 6:30 PM, Meeting #2. The program has yet to be announced.
23, 6:30 PM, 6:30 PM, Board Meeting at the Blind Association.
