Recycle Ink has sent me an updated list of acceptable items. I think this list will save us a lot of time and effort. You can go to there website at www.recycleink.com. Click on the current list which takes you to the acceptable ink cartridges and cell phone page. Then click on View Empty Toner cartridges Page, which again shows acceptable toner cartridges and their values. For each acceptable item, the club receives $2.00. The toner values varies. This is really an easy fundraiser for the club, if everyone could participate. They pay for shipping, so their is no expense to the club. Thanks, Lion Russ Moore (aka Buster).
October Dates
02 6:30 Meeting #1, at the Blind Association Awards Night, Spouse and friends invited.
If you don't sign up for the Awards Night at the September 18th meeting you may call George Bonnett (724-287-5345) no later than Sunday, September 30 and leave a message.
NO ONE WILL BE CALLED FOR RESERVATIONS! We need an accurate count only on non-regular meeting nights so we know how much food to order. We must pay for what we orger, therefor; if you change your mind after signing up you must also call no later than Sunday to cancel your reservations. Monday and Tuesday will be too late as the order is put in early on Monday.
If you make reservations and don't come, you are responsible to pay for those meals so it does not come out of our club funds!! Yes we often have extra food, you are taking a chance if we have something that isn't easily broken down like stuffed pork chop or chicken breasts. The food is just ordered and what we get is up to Fairground Market. We don't know what we get until it arrives.
Your help and care will be greatly appreciated. (This requirement applies also to other meetings or outside events where outsiders are guests).

20, Sausage sale pick up day at the rear of the Blind Assoc. from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.

Beaver Falls 85th Anniversary
The Beaver Falls Lions Club invites all to their 85th ANNIVERSARY GALA on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Hollidasy Inn, Beaver Falls. The reception, dinner, speaker, & entertainment will cost $25 per person.
