Just a reminder that if you miss a meeting your copy of the TALE will be sent to you by e-mail if you have the service. Those without e-mail will still receive their copy by regular mail.
The first meeting in February, the 5th, we will be hosting a zone meeting. Hopefully we will get to interact with members of the other clubs. Lets be sure to make these fellow Lions feel welcome.
The second meeting in February, the 19th, is the District Governor's visit. Let's have a good turnout for this special occasion. Here is a chance to show the Governor some of the enthusiasm and vigor that is making our club one of the leaders in the district.
Fifteen Lions are expecting to go to the Game Dinner at Knox (At times called Road Kill Dinner).
THE VOICE OF THE DIABETIC is a quarterly pub. that this club has been distributing to locations throughout Butler for years. We receive 500 copies and the burden of delivery of them has fallen on a few. It is very time consuming for one or two persons to deliver to about 50 locations. To ease this burden, we are asking all members to accept the challenge to deliver to one or two sites. In this way no one will have to spend hours on this project. A sign up sheet with the delivery locatins will be circulated starting at our Jan. 15 meeting and will continue to be circulated until alll locations are covered. The Publication will be brought to the meeting and the members will be asked to take what they need for their deliveries. If you are absent from the meeting, arrangements will be made to get them to you so the deliveries can be timely made. Thanks to you all.
