2007-2008 Dues are Due! $60 dollars for regular members. Any Dues not yet paid is past due and puts a financial burden on the club!
The COST of OUR MEALS with the meeting are going up to $10 for the 2007-2008 year. This price will include a 50-50 ticket along with the dinner.
The broom and bag sale held on June 11 through 14, resulted in over $1599 in sales. Thanks to Lion Terry for chairing the sale and selling all four days. Thanks also to the following Lions for coming out and selling: LeFevre, Faller (2 days), Marshall (2 days) Noah, Jones (2 days), Parisi (2 days) and Hetrick. Our fall sale will be on September 10 through 13.
The more Lions that turn out, the more ground we can cover and the more sales we can make. This sale is also a good PR activity for the club. People get to know the Lions through these sales. Please keep a day or four open that week on your calendar and come out to sell, get some exercise, make some money for the club and spread the Word of Lionism!
July Dates:
03, Meeting#1 canceled; Instead, a number of the members optioned to go to the Sliders baseball game at Slippery Rock.
17, 6:30 PM, Meeting #2 at the club shelter at Alameda Park. A Board Meeting will immediately follow the regular meeting.
August Dates:
07, Meeting #1, Induction of new members, andy new member who has not been inducted are encouraged to attend this meeting, their sponsors too.
