The Butler Lions Club will have a booth at the Fall Festival. We will sell Entertainment Books, DVD of Butler County 1940 and Brooms and Bags. We will also provided information on Lionism and membership in our club along with promoting the Scoot and Toot/Chili Cook-off our next upcomming fund raising events.
A second part of the event will be a booth on the corner of South McKean and Cunningham Street. We will accept donations from passerbys and run a white cane day along with selling Lions Brooms and Bags.
September 20, 2010 (Update on Event)
The event was a hugh success with many club members helping at both locations. We sold many brooms and bags, some DVD's and talked to hundreds of people about lionism. A big thanks to King Lion Gary and Lion John Hertzog for chairing the event.
Butler Fall Festival: The Butler Fall Festival was held on September 18 and we manned 2 booths, one on Main Street and the other on the corner of McKean and Cunningham. Total collections for both locations were $609.15. Thanks to the following Lions for coming out and helping that day: Bindernagel, G.
